InnerCity Weightlifing (ICW) uses fitness training as a tool to reduce violence and promote professional, personal and academic achievement among urban youth. ICW empowers young people with the confidence to say no to violence and yes to opportunity.

Social Issue Talk Series begins on October 22

Social Issue Talk Series is BACK!

Our Social Issue Talk Series is BACK, and this time around, we are convening virtually on Zoom! The first virtual event in the series begins on October 22 featuring guest speaker Julia Mejia, City Councilor At-Large, City of Boston, and Boston HERC (Higher Education Resource Center), a 2020 Social Innovator. These events are intended for funders and community leaders who are interested in learning from leading experts in our social impact community and select Innovators from our 2020 Social Innovator cohort about the latest trends, best practices, and exciting innovations across a variety of fields.
