When you attend a Social Innovation Forum (SIF) event, you’re bound to recognize a couple of faces. Sure, a smiling SIF staff member handing you a nametag, but also, the thoughtful and dedicated community of nonprofit leaders and funders who keep coming back to learn, share, and connect. One such funder is Kayla Wiggin, Grants Manager at The Devonshire Foundation (TDF).

We are living in a time when the world feels not only unpredictable but increasingly difficult to navigate. One of today’s most pressing challenges can be seen in the ongoing changes to immigration policies. These shifts are impacting not only immigrants themselves but also the nonprofits working tirelessly to support them.

We want people to know that LCCE is the only Latino-led, Latino-serving nonprofit in Lowell focused on empowerment through education, cultural celebration, and access to resources. 

At the Social Innovation Forum (SIF), we are excited to announce the kick-off of our formal facilitated strategic planning process this month. We’ve selected CFAR (Center for Applied Research) as our planning partner to facilitate a process that will take us through the next eight months.

This Pride month, we’re shouting about how much we love four of our former Social Innovators doing critical work in the LGBTQIA+ community space.

With your help, we will double the impact of our vital mission to strengthen the courageous nonprofits we work with, providing resources, raising their visibility, and expanding their networks and knowledge.

A timely message from Wyona Lynch-McWhite, SIF's Executive Director about SIF's commitment to expand its resources and networks to support the Eastern MA's nonprofits being impacted by the federal administrations norms and policies. 

In early April, SIF hosted “Strengthening Our Sector: A Community Brainstorm” at More than Words to bring together nonprofit leaders, funders, and consultants to speak openly about the current strengths and opportunities of the nonprofit sector.
