Our Approach

The Social Innovation Forum (SIF) plays a critical role in the social impact community by educating, engaging, and connecting resource providers (funders, investors, and volunteers) and on-the-ground leaders of nonprofit organizations and social impact businesses. Our programs and services provide a unique combination of capacity building and network building as we actively connect supporters and practitioners to build productive relationships focused on growing social impact.

    The Social Innovator Accelerator has a 14-year track record of helping high-performing nonprofit organizations to gain visibility, expand their networks, and connect with philanthropic resources.

  • Investor & Supporter Engagement

    Investor & Supporter Engagement

    SIF helps investors and supporters identify ways to leverage their skills and resources to create positive social impact in the community. The SIF team provides information and opportunities to engage as evaluators, presentation coaches, advisors, and mentors.

  • Events


    SIF hosts several events throughout the year that allow community members to build networks, learn about social issues, and meet social impact leaders. Events include the Social Issue Speaker Series (March); two Showcase events (April and May), and our Winter Reception (December).

    As a result of the Social Innovation Forum's 2017 acquisition of the Next Mile Project, we manage a collaborative, community space dedicated to helping nonprofits work productively, build their capacity, and broaden their networks to achieve social impact.
