Lena (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum in January 2022 as a Program and Operations Co-op from Northeastern University. In this role, she works closely with the Manager of Strategy & Operations in order to improve systems for collecting and utilizing data and assists in the maintenance of database administration. Additionally, Lena works with the Senior Program Manager to coordinate logistics for workshops and events across the SIF network.

Lena is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, with a minor in Criminal Justice. At Northeastern University, she took on the role of a Service-Learning Teaching Assistant, coordinating service projects between community partners and students. Lena also previously worked at Pine Street Inn as the Volunteer Programs Administrative Assistant. In this position, she coordinated volunteer shifts and donations, which allowed her to build relationships with community members and gain insight into the nonprofit sector. She was also able to acquire skills in database management, communication, and program projects. These experiences enabled her to begin exploring the fields of programs and operations in mission-driven work. Lena is looking forward to continuing to engage in positive social change across the Greater Boston area through the Social Innovation Forum.
