A veteran lawyer, fundraiser, and development consultant, Allison (she/her/hers) brings over two decades of work experience to her role as Social Innovation Forum’s first Director of Development. She is responsible for leading SIF’s development efforts with individual and institutional donors to support the continued growth and evolution of our work in the greater Boston community.  

Allison joined SIF in October 2018 following five years as the founder and principal of her own development consulting firm, Advancement Advisers. Prior to Advancement Advisers, she worked as a development consultant with The Wayland Group and raised money for Phillips Academy Andover, her alma mater; Walnut Hill School; and Boston College School of Law. Allison began her professional career as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court and then served as a litigator with Boston law firms Nixon Peabody and Prince, Lobel & Tye.

Allison currently serves as a director of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. She is a former trustee of Phillips Academy Andover and a former director of Room to Grow (a 2017 Social Innovator). Allison is a vice president and director of the Empire Loan Charitable Foundation, which she co-founded with her husband, Michael Goldstein.
