Lori Smith Britton (she/her/hers) is Founder and Principal of Community Resource Consulting, Inc. – a consulting practice that has raised millions for Boston-area charities, providing strategic counsel and tactile fundraising support for a variety of clients. Prior to launching her full-time practice in 2007, Lori worked in a variety of advancement roles in a number of organizations, including MIT, Boston Latin School Association, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, and the Museum of African American History (Boston/Nantucket), where she helped raise funds to restore the African Meeting House on Beacon Hill — a National Historic Landmark. Most recently, she helped Epiphany School in Dorchester, MA complete its $25M capital campaign and grow its annual review from $3M to $5M+ in 4 years.

Lori, a native of Boston Massachusetts and a graduate of Boston Latin School, holds a dual bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in English and Broadcast Journalism and a master’s degree in Urban Affairs from Boston University. She lives in Dorchester, MA with her husband and two daughters.
