    On Wednesday, December 7 more than 275 philanthropists, business leaders, nonprofit professionals, and others gathered at the Microsoft NERD Center for the Social Innovation Forum's 13th annual Winter Reception at which the seven Social Innovators for 2017 were formally announced, the Margaret Stewart Lindsay “Inspiration” Award was presented, and many of Social Innovation Forum’s portfolio organizations were celebrated.
