Collaborative Funding Opportunity Info Session

Civic engagement the focus of this year's collaborative social issue track

-

Social Innovation Forum, 2 Oliver Street, Boston 02109 (RSVP required)

Are you a donor interested in promoting civic engagement in greater Boston?

We invite you to join us for an info session to learn more about SIF’s upcoming collaborative funding opportunity for next-gen, emerging, and experienced donors. In recognition of deepening divides both locally and nationally and in an effort to encourage all community members to engage in our democracy, this year SIF will convene a group of donors to form a collaborative social issue track focused on civic engagement.

The collaborative funding opportunity allows a community of next-gen funders, emerging philanthropists, and other prospective partners to accelerate social change in greater Boston. Working with the SIF team, the funding partners will engage in the entire Social Innovator Accelerator process, starting with defining a more specific social issue area of focus. The participants will join an in-depth, six-month application process, meeting experts, reviewing applications, and participating in site visits, culminating in the selection of one nonprofit organization to join the 2021 Social Innovator cohort. The Social Innovator will then receive 24 months of capacity-building support from the Social Innovation Forum, helping them to scale their work and deepen their impact.
