Each week we will share events being hosted by our past Innovators and Entrepreneurs. Be sure to get out there and support our inspiring Boston nonprofit community!

1. “All about pickles” with Future Chefs, 2011 Innovator
Boston Pickle Fair

If you are a pickle fan, this unique event is for you! Future Chefs is hosting its first annual Pickle Fair to appreciate all of your favorite fermented foods including Kimchi, Kraut, and Tempeh. Once you've had your fill of pickles, enjoy the festival with games, live music, and contests all day long!

This event is free and open to the public.

2. Unlock your creativity with Artisan’s Asylum, 2014 Entrepreneur
Cosplay Workshop

June 27, 6:30-9:30 pm | Artisan's Asylum, Inc.

Get ready for the upcoming Anime Boston convention with Artisan’s Asylum! Come with questions about prop building to ask their professional costumers and prop-builders. With the goal to introduce you to foam-smithing, 3D printing, and sewing, this workshop will be a fun, collaborative, and productive space for you to work on your own costume project. Please bring your own materials and any personal tools you may need; some foam and thermoplastic will be available for cash purchase. 

This event is free and open to people from 18 years old and up.

3. Celebrate multicultural films and with Madison Park Development Corporation, 2003 Innovator
Roxbury International Film Festival

June 27, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm | Hibernian Hall

Every year, the Roxbury International Film Festival honors the work of filmmakers of color by holding workshops, discussion panels, and film screenings to show more diverse images of people around the world. Hibernian Hall will be the host venue for two films Street Scenes 15 and I know a Man…Ashley Brian empowering arts, cultures, and social justice. Don’t miss this great chance to gain a global perspective and support talented artists.

4. Enjoy fresh products and support local farmers with Groundwork Lawrence, 2013 Innovator
Groundwork Farmers Market

June 28th, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm | Campagnone North Common
Haverhill St (side across from the Senior Center 155 Haverhill Street)

Come to the Farmers Market every Wednesdays from now until October 28th to shop local food, baked good, and crafts at affordable prices! Connect with your neighbors while supporting local businesses. There will be concerts, cultural activities, and educational exhibitions for the whole family to enjoy.
