1. Fun in the sun with Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC), a 2003 Social Innovator
Garden Tea Party

Looking for a way to enjoy the beautiful weather while engaging with fellow community members? Pack up your favorite lawn chair and your “best” hat and head over to Saida’s Community Garden for an afternoon garden tea party with Madison Park Development Corporation. MPDC is an innovative organization generating positive social change in respect to real estate development, asset management, and cultural revitalization in and around Roxbury.

2. Explore a new language with Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association, a 2016 Innovator
Khmer Class 

July 9, 8:30 am - 10:00 pm | 465 School St. Lowell, MA 01851

If you are interested in Cambodian culture and language, this event is for you! Currently, CMAA is offering classes for people from 15 years old and up who would like to learn Cambodia’s official language Khmer. This unique class will be held every Sunday starting from July 9, which will give you a great educational and cultural experience!

3. Jam out on the beach with Hale, a 2016 Innovator
2017 Summer Sounds Concert Series

July 13, 7:00 pm | 80 Carby St, Westwood, MA 02090

This relaxing event at Hale’s Membership Beach is a great opportunity for your family to reconnect with a natural environment and strengthen your relationships. Come with family and friends and be ready for the concert featuring some great local singer-songwriters! Doors will open at 7:00 pm and the concert will begin at 8:00 pm.

This event is free for members and $10 for non-members.

4. Celebrate the House Slam’s third anniversary with Haley House Bakery Café, a 2003 Innovator
The House Slam Year III

July 14, 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm | Haley House Parking Lot 12 Dade Street, Boston, MA 02119

Are you a fan of slam poem? Join the celebration of the community and space built to combat oppressions. "The House Slam” at the Haley House Café is Boston’s Newest Poetry Slam venue located in the heart of Dudley Square. This first outdoor event is going to be upbeat with guest performers, music, and cake! Parking lot will open at 6:30 pm, Open Mic will begin at 7:15 pm, and guest performances begin at 8:30 pm. Everything is free!

Please bring your ID as this event open to people 18 years old and up.
