Oriana (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) in January 2020 as SIF’s new Program and Events Co-op through Northeastern University’s Cooperative Education program. In this role, Oriana works with the program team to support the planning and managing of events including the Social Innovator Accelerator cohort meetings, the Social Issue Talk Series, and the Social Innovator Showcase. Additionally, Oriana works to support the management of logistics for SIF’s Capacity Camp programs and the design and development of a new alumni program.

Oriana is a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a combined degree in human services and sociology. Through her studies, she has started an in-depth look into the role of the nonprofit sector and systems thinking. Oriana brings several years of experience in direct-service nonprofit work on the U.S./Mexico border and is looking forward to working in an administrative capacity to further support local nonprofits. She is passionate about building and strengthening communities to amplify positive social change and is excited to support the SIF community as she continues her own development as an effective social change maker.
