Mayowa (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) in June 2020 as a program intern. In this position, Mayowa helps the program team execute outreach to nonprofit leaders and potential applicants for the Social Innovator Accelerator program and assists in evaluating its applications.
Mayowa is a rising sophomore at Boston University who is currently studying business administration at the Questrom School of Business. She is a proud Nigerian who was born in Lagos but raised in Boston, Massachusetts. During the summer of 2019, she worked for Women’s Lunch Place as an intern, where she developed a love for nonprofit organizations due to them giving respect to those who are, sadly, too often disrespected and marginalized in society. Although Mayowa is unsure of what her future holds after college, she is excited to learn as much as she can so that she can provide value to her family and to the world.
