Candidate for a BS in Psychology; Minors in Health Science and Law and Public Policy (Expected Graduation 2022)

Lena (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) in July 2021 as SIF’s new Program and Events Co-op through Northeastern University’s Cooperative Education program. In this role, Lena works with the Program Team to support the planning and managing of events including the Social Innovator Accelerator cohort meetings, the Social Issue Talk Events, and the Social Innovator Showcase. Additionally, Lena works to support the management of the Capacity Camp programs and assists with the logistics of the monthly workshops and other events for SIF's Nonprofit Network. 

Lena is a fourth-year student at Northeastern University, pursuing a BS in Psychology with minors in Health Science and Law & Public Policy. Lena has a passion for promoting positive social change, as shown through her previous experiences at various nonprofits including Boston Children’s Hospital, the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England, and You’re With Us! Lena has a particular interest in disability and LGBTQ+ advocacy, as she identifies with both communities. While continuing to serve those communities, Lena is also looking forward to expanding her knowledge base and supporting a wide range of nonprofit organizations during her time at SIF.
