Program Intern
Candidate for BA in Urban Studies, Yale University (expected graduation 2021)

Lauryn (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) in June 2020 as one of SIF’s program interns. She works with the program team to support outreach for and management of the application process for the Social Innovator Accelerator program.

Lauryn is a rising senior majoring in urban studies at Yale University. Through her studies, she has become passionate about issues of community connection and displacement in cities, especially with regard to housing and homelessness. She has previously worked with Y2Y Harvard Square (a 2019 Social Innovator), a youth-run homeless shelter, and is involved in an initiative to launch a second Y2Y program in New Haven, CT. Hoping to pursue a career dedicated to equitable urban design, she is excited about SIF’s mission to connect and support local innovators for positive change.
