Lauren joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) team in January 2017. As the Program Coordinator, she is excited to provide support to the Social Innovators as they go through all phases of the Social Innovator Accelerator. She also works with the SIF team to build community through engaging events – including SIF’s March Social Issue Talk Series – that shine a light on some of Boston’s most pressing social issues.

Born and raised in Roxbury, Lauren is a strong advocate for strengthening her community through arts, collaboration, and youth development. Most recently, Lauren worked in community engagement at Company One Theatre, one of the SIF 2015 Innovators, where she strove to make the Boston arts scene more accessible and inclusive. With a Bachelor of Arts in English from UMass Amherst, she also used her love of language to become a Youth Enrichment Coach for elementary school students through America SCORES Boston and a tutor for students going through the college application process at 826 Boston. In her free time, Lauren enjoys photography, writing, yoga, and working hard to make Boston a more equitable city.
