After receiving his BA in Art History and Philosophy from Connecticut College, Ege completed several service projects with the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps before joining the SIF team. Ege taught English and led community development projects in Kosovo prior to a year of Service with AmeriCorps NCCC where he helped build houses in West Virginia, delivered food to high-risk populations during the pandemic, and assisted in wildfire prevention projects in Southern California. As an immigrant, a young professional and a recent community development volunteer, Ege is passionate about SIF’s model of empowering Innovators and looks forward to helping the organization increase its positive impact in the Greater Boston community.
