Education
BA in International Affairs and Sociology with a minor in Global Social Entrepreneurship Northeastern University (expected graduation 2022)

Lizzy (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) team in January 2019 as the Special Events and Operations Co-op through Northeastern University’s Cooperative Education and Career Development program. In this role, Lizzy supports the planning and managing of events including the Spring Social Issues Talk Series, the May Social Innovator Showcase, and the Second Look event. She assists in the organization of monthly Approach and Impact lunches, which introduce potential donors to SIF’s mission. Additionally, Lizzy works with the Program team to organize a range of workshops and learning sessions. Lizzy also supports the day-to-day operations of SIF’s coworking space for nonprofit organizations.

Lizzy is a second year student at Northeastern University pursuing a combined degree in International Affairs and Sociology with a minor in Global Social Entrepreneurship. She previously managed Boston Microgreens, a local urban farming startup that specializes in selling organic, grow-to-order herbs for Boston chefs. She is passionate about the local community and small businesses visibility. Lizzy is extremely excited to collaborate with SIF’s partners and become an active member in Boston’s social change and nonprofit sector.
