Annazulia joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) team in January 2018 as the Special Events Co-Op through Northeastern University’s Cooperative Education and Career Development program. In this role, she provides administrative and logistical support for a robust schedule of internal and external events, including learning sessions, convenings, panel discussions, SIF’s March Social Issue Talk Series, and our signature “Social Innovator Showcase,” where the eight nonprofits from our Nonprofit Accelerator “pitch” to an audience of 350+ philanthropists, business leaders, and others who can support their work.

Annazulia is a second year student at Northeastern University, pursuing a degree in International Affairs and Anthropology. At Northeastern, she leads Partners in Health Engage NEU, a global health and social justice student organization advocating for the right to health movement around the world. Prior to attending college, she traveled with Thinking Beyond Borders on a global gap year program, where she worked on community development projects in Ecuador, Thailand, India, and South Africa. She is very interested in the nonprofit sector, and well as social enterprise models for effective and positive social change.
