Presentation Advisor
Presentation Advisor: March – May 2009 (2 months)
Skills/Experience:
- Experience in marketing, high level corporate visioning, or venture capital.
- Experience giving concise, compelling presentations.
- Some experience in the nonprofit sector, either as a professional or a volunteer.
- Comfortable working with entrepreneurial organizations.
- Able to listen, ask questions and provide guidance in a mentoring role
Responsibilities:
- Provide reactions, feedback and suggestions on presentation content and delivery to prepare a Social Innovator for the May 5 showcase event.
- Bring outside and business perspective to the Social Innovator’s presentation.
- Mentor the Social Innovator in presentation and delivery style.
Time Commitment:
The Presentation Advisor is asked to give approximately 10 to 15 hours between early March and May 5, by attending the following meetings:
- An orientation session in early March, 2009.
- Two team meetings with a Social Innovator in March.
- The Panel Presentation in early April.
- A post-Panel Presentation team meeting in mid-April to assist with revisions to the PowerPoint.
- The May 5 showcase event, to show support to the Social Innovators who will be presenting.
